Our trustees help guide the vision and direction of HSRI. As part of our Board, you’ll use your skills, experience and insight to strengthen our charity, support good governance and ensure we can continue delivering meaningful support for families across Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.
Trustees play a vital strategic role: overseeing our plans and priorities, ensuring our work remains rooted in compassion and community, and helping us make the best possible decisions for the families we support. You might bring professional expertise such as IT, early years, fundraising, legal or communications, or lived experience that strengthens our understanding of the challenges families face.
Our Board meets approximately every 8 weeks, usually in the early evening, with reading and preparation in between. New trustees receive an induction, safeguarding training and ongoing support so you feel confident and well-equipped in your role.
Becoming a trustee is a meaningful way to make a difference at a strategic level, helping ensure that families across Renfrewshire and Inverclyde continue to receive the compassionate, relationship‑based support they deserve.
